

Muscat: The Omani poet, Hilalah al Hamadani, who took part in the second edition of the 'Million's Poet' competition in Abu Dhabi passed away early morning on Wednesday after a stroke.
Hilalah suffered a stroke after she delivered her baby three days ago.
Her untimely death has shocked several poetry lovers and others as it was reflected on the social media posts.
Hilalah who was influenced by her father is the first Omani poet to participate in the Million’s Poet competition and reach its advanced stages.
She has been also popular as a radio host in the Sultanate.
