Muscat - The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT) has started work on the road project linking the Khazaen Economic City with the Batinah Expressway.

The project works include designing and constructing entry and exit points, which will have an estimated length of 7km.

When completed, the project will contribute to the smooth flow of traffic heading to and from Khazaen Economic City, in addition to linking it to the main road network in the Sultanate of Oman.

The implementation of this project comes as part of the efforts of the MTCIT Ministry to boost the logistics sector in the country.
