The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the Omani Frankincense Exhibition in Geneva, with the aim of highlighting and promoting Omani frankincense as a product and a geographical indication.

The exhibition, which concludes on July 14 at the WIPO building in Geneva, will enable Oman to promote small and medium enterprises (SMEs) working among frankincense products and its derivatives.

The works of the Omani frankincense exhibition during the meetings of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is being organised by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources.

This also provides the opportunity and scope to highlight SMEs working in frankincense products for expansion in the global markets to serve the national economy.
