Muscat: The popular Al Hail School of Cricket is organising the second edition of Inter Academy Summer Camp tournament 2023. The camp will run from June 26 up to end of August, according to Abdul Ghani al Balushi, head coach of the Al Hail School of Cricket.
The camp competition will take place in Al Hail Cricket Club's grassy field in Mabela, among Omani and expatriates players of the academy only. The gathering will be an ideal opportunity for young cricket enthusiasts to improve their skills and meet new people.
Since cricket is a very popular sport among the locals as well as the resident expatriates in Oman, while four Academy teams participating in this event from senior and junior. The camp apply league format tournament where each team has the opportunity to play three matches in the round stage before the top two teams advance to the championship match.
The camps activities include, hand-eye coordination games (for children aged 5 to 10), fielding drills, skill sessions, batting and bowling in nets, games, and more. Beginners and players of all levels of experience, also there are fun and growth programme.
