KPA organise first joint friendship training

Muscat: With the participation of 90 players and 15 coaches from 10 clubs, centres and academies, and with the organisation of the Karate Pioneers Academy (KPA) and Lyft gym in Al Khoud, joint training was held for 10 clubs, under the supervision of Ahmed bin Said al Zakwani.


The training programme included basic concepts for the performance development of kata and raising the level of muscular strength through the performance of kata, as well as developing the level of kumite through some combat techniques.


After Ahmed bin Said al Zakwani, Chairman of the Karate Pioneers Academy, welcomed the participants in this gathering, which was held for the first time in the Sultanate of Oman on this level of skills and training diversity, where Ali bin Mohammed al Raisi presented the basics of kata development by developing its basic standards as well. Yousef bin Musallam al Siyabi presented some techniques and skills to raise the level of strength of the muscles of the body through the performance of kata, then Said bin Nasser al Batrani presented some kumite skills and the way to move during the competitions, while Ahmed Balidi presented kicks techniques during competitions of Kumite and how to develop speed to implement it.


The clubs participating in this gathering are: Pioneers Karate Academy - Shotokan Karate Center - Golden Karate Group - Muscat International Karate Do Academy - Al Qudra Karate Club - Karate Champions Club - Al Suwaiq Karate Club Academy - Al Buraimi Karate Academy - Samayil Karate Champions Club - Freedom Karate Team.


Said bin Salem al Busaidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lyft gym in Al Khoudh, presented certificates of thanks and appreciation to the participating clubs. Al Suwaiq Club Academy, represented by Ahmed al Shehhi, gave a souvenir to the organiser of the first joint friendship training gathering, Ahmed bin Said al Zakwani. Then Al Busaidi gave a word of thanks to the participants, wishing them to continue their journey and continuous progress and success.
