Muscat: Oman Meterology has urged sea goers to avoid going to the sea and practicing activities due to the waves rising to 3-6 meters on the coasts of the Arabian Sea during the next three days.


The average waves on the coasts of the Sea of ​​Oman will be 1.5 m to 2 m n the coasts of the Sea of ​​Oman, starting from Monday, June 12.


On the other side, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources (MAFWR) has, also, called on fishermen not to go to sea or fishing during this period to avoid any possible developments of the tropical cyclone. Fishermen are urged to take required safety precautions and to tow their boats to the safest sites, the ministry reiterated.
