Oman chairs ministerial meeting of GCC Food Safety Committee

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman chaired the 7th ministerial meeting of the GCC Food Safety Committee.


The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Dr Saud Hamoud al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources.


The meeting, held via video-conferencing, discussed a spectrum of topics, including the GCC guide for control on imported foods and the unified food law of the GCC, among other topics. The committee also followed-up on decisions taken during 2022.
