Jabal al Akhdar - The Wilayat of Jabal Al-Akhdar in the Governorate of Al-Dakhiliyah is witnessing a large tourist turnout from citizens, residents, and foreign visitors due to the moderate weather.
According to the National Center for Statistics and Information, the number of visitors to Jabal Al Akhdar during the first five months of this year
was 57,867 visitors, including 16,476 Omanis.
The wilayat records active seasonal rains and high clouds in the summer, which makes it an attractive tourist destination with a number of
services and facilities such as international resorts )from five to three stars) green lodges, rest houses, and guesthouses on offer.
Al Jabal Al Akhdar has around 734 rooms distributed over 13 hotel facilities, including resorts, hotels with a rating of 3 to 5 stars, green lodges, and guesthouses, in addition to many rest houses.
