Conference on Innovation, Future of Government Work kicks off

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour organized a conference titled “Innovation and the Future of Government Work”.


The two-day event seeks to establish a culture of innovation and promote its role in developing the work environment in government establishments.


The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr Rahma Ibrahim al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

The conference offers an opportunity to discuss experiences, enhance the competitive status of the government sector and promote knowledge economies.


The conference also explores the future of government work in the context of artificial intelligence, economic diversification, technology and its relation to economic growth.


The conference has several themes, including “Knowledge Economy and Sustainable Development” which deals with recent trends in building knowledge economy and the role of knowledge management in achieving sustainable development.
