

MUSCAT: The Office of Majlis Ash’shura reviewed the response of the minister of health to a report prepared by the Youth and Human Resources Committee regarding the Ministry of Labour’s plan to employ graduates of medical and assistant medical disciplines.
The office also reviewed a report prepared by the Youth and Human Resources Committee regarding the expressed desire on the implementation of the innovative employment project in the Sultanate of Oman. The report included an introduction and a summary of the expressed desire and its importance beside the most important targets for implementing the project. It also included the opinion of the Ministry of Economy and the Development Bank on the proposal and the opinion of the committee.
Also discussed at the meeting was the report of the Youth and Human Resources Committee regarding the expressed desire to declare the Omani Mixed Martial Arts Association. The meeting also reviewed the report of the Health and Environmental Committee regarding the expressed desire to implement a project to produce medical intravenous fluids from fresh date solution.
In addition, the Office of Majlis Ash’shura reviewed a number of follow-up applications including a request for briefing presented to the chairman of the Oman Investment Authority (OIA) about the private food projects.
