The Tuhr volunteer team of Dar Al Atta'a Association, in partnership with the Nizwa Cultural Centre of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, organised a volunteer forum in Nizwa Cultural Centre on Thursday and Friday.
Held under the auspices of Ahmed bin Nasser al Abri, a member of Majlis Ash'shura and representative of Nizwa, the forum continued for two days.
Tuhr Volunteer Carnival took place in the Nizwa Cultural Centre. There were entertainment games and theatres for children. The event had a choice for everyone.
It also had an exhibition accompanying productive families that contained accessories, food products, cosmetic products, books, perfumes, incense, toys for children, and others.
A corner also contained donation machines to donate directly to Dar Al Atta'a.
Nasser al Abri spoke about the Tuhr team's generosity and appreciated their volunteering efforts. He also talked about volunteering with ideas, time, design and directing. He expressed his thanks to everyone who contributed to this humanitarian work.
Ishaq al Sheryani, CEO of Bawareq Nizwa International for Investing, talked about the zakat of money and charity that benefits the person in all areas of life. And that everyone is required to do positive deeds wherever they are. This giving is not limited to money, but also includes spreading knowledge and encouraging others.
Mahmoud bin Hamad al Jamudi, head of the Tuhr volunteer team, spoke about the Tuhr team, a team of eight people from the Nizwa University of Technology and Applied Sciences affiliated with the Dar Al Atta'a Association.
