Over 4,600 children are allotted seats in Indian Schools

Muscat: A total of 4,677 children have registered for admission to Indian schools in the capital area and they have been allotted seats, the Indian School Board in Oman said in a statement.

The numbers account for the admission of students from KG 1 to Class IX standards.

“The centralized admission system with online registration introduced by the Board has facilitated the entire admission process, making it convenient for parents and schools to take care of the rush for admissions,” said Dr. Sivakumar Manickam, Chairman, Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman. “The Board is committed to ensuring that no child would be deprived of admission in our schools,” he added.

The online registration for admissions in Indian Schools in the capital area is open for new applicants.

For admissions in the international wing of Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir and Indian School Al Ghubra, parents can approach these schools directly.

Admissions for children with special needs are open at Care and Special Education (CSE) which is located on the Indian School Muscat premises. Parents can approach the CSE administration directly for admission (www.cseoman.com)
