LONDON: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said took part in the coronation ceremony of King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Head of the Commonwealth, which took place at Westminster Abbey in London, on Saturday.
HH Sayyid Theyazin was accompanied during the coronation ceremony by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister.
On Friday, HH Sayyid Theyazin participated in the official reception held by King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the President of the Commonwealth on Friday evening at Buckingham Palace in London. The reception was held in honour of the official delegations participating in the coronation ceremony of the King of the United Kingdom.
During his meeting with King Charles III, His Highness conveyed the congratulations of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and his good wishes to His Majesty the King for health, wellness, and lasting success, and for the friendly British people’s progress and prosperity.
His Majesty King Charles III entrusted His Highness Sayyid Theyazin to convey his deep greetings and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan and his sincere wishes to His Majesty for good health and long life, and for the Omani people for further progress and development.
Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Minister of Foreign Affairs, also attended the reception.
