Muscat: As many as 291 members of workers syndicates on Wednesdayday elected the chairman and members of the General Federation of Oman Workers Board of Directors for the term 2023-2027. The process was carried out through an e-election system.
The results of the election came as follows: Nabhan Ahmed al Batashi was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Federation of Oman Workers.
Meanwhile, the elected members of the board comprise the following: Ibrahim Hamad al Balushi, Aida Shamis al Hashemi, Ishaq Juma al Kharousi, Ammar Salim al Ghufaili, Hamid Saleem al Mamari, Mahboob Mohammed al Rahili, Suad Ali al Sulaimi, Mohammed Hamad al Hinai, Taiba Sulaiman al Hasani and Nasser Said al Araimi.
