Haval’s Jolion SUV EMI starts as low as RO 71

MUSCAT: From the stable of global SUV specialist Haval is a new edition of Jolion – a compact SUV that is smart beyond its years. In addition to its bold architecture and masterful engineering, this smart SUV bristles with cutting-edge technology and safety features that simply outclass its peers.

Of late, however, sales of this elegant SUV from Haval have been strongly buoyed by a package of incentives and freebies that have made the Jolion an eminently worthy acquisition for many price-conscious customers in Oman.

This package of benefits, valid till May 15, 2023 , include price-busting EMIs that start as low as RO 71 on top of packages that come bundled with insurance and registration for the first year and 50,000 km service warranty. In Oman, the five-seater Jolion is available in three trims: Comfort, Deluxe and Luxury. Standard across all three trims is a front grille, LED headlights, daytime running lights and automatic wipers, among other features. The sides have body-coloured door handles and power-folding and adjustable body-colour side mirrors with turn signals. The rear includes an exhaust system, liftgate cargo access, roof spoiler and LED taillights.

All trims share the same 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that delivers 140 hp of power and 210 nm of torque. The engine drives the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Keeping in mind the Jolion’s particular affinity with the younger demographic of customers, the SUV’s interior is delightfully appointed and outfitted. All three trims boast Button Engine Start and MicroFiber Leather Steering Wheel. Exclusive on the Luxury is a panoramic sunroof, as is a 6-way electrically adjusted driver seat. The large-format multimedia touchscreen is an expansive 12.3-inch on the Luxury, but drops to 10.25-inch on the other two trims. Speakers range from 4 in the Comfort, rising to 6 on the Deluxe and Luxury trims.

As with its siblings across the Haval line-up, the Jolion also benefits from innovative safety and drive assistance systems. Standard across all three trims are: Antilock Braking System + Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Hiss Descent Control, Rear Parking Sensors, Reverse Camera + Dynamic Assist Line. E-Parking is available on the Deluxe and Luxury trims, and so are Traction and Hill-Start Assist Control. Exclusive on the Luxury trim is a 360-degree camera Omniview System.
