Muscat: HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers received here on Tuesday Dr Rula Maayah, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of the State of Palestine.
At the outset of the meeting, the guest conveyed greetings and best wishes of the Palestinian leadership to the leadership in the Sultanate of Oman and the Omani people. She underscored the Palestinian people’s appreciation of Oman’s continuous support for their cause.
HH Sayyid Fahd affirmed the Sultanate of Oman's continued support for the Palestinian cause and all efforts aimed at restoring the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people.
The meeting dealt with the bilateral relations between the two countries and means of promoting them particularly in the areas of heritage, tourism and museums. It also touched on the latest developments at the regional and international arenas.
The meeting was attended by Salim Mohammed al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism and Jamal Hassan al Musawi, Secretary General of the National Museum.
