MUSCAT: Al Madina Real Estate will on Sunday, April 30, mark the launch of sales of Hayy Al Sahel tourism project in the Wilayat of Qurayat, Governorate of Muscat. The ceremony will be held under the auspices of Salim bin Mohammed al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism.


Hayy Al Sahel tourism project occupies an area of 1,000,300 sqm along the seashore. It comprises 3-star, 4-star and 5-star hotels, luxury residential units, a golf academy, an equestrian academy, a leisure boulevard and a chain of international restaurants and cafes. It also boasts other attractions, including gardens, green spaces, sports clubs and green homes that are environmentally friendly.


The project is deemed the first integrated tourism project that implements a freehold system with permanent residence for foreigners.


The project contributes to the realisation of Oman Vision 2040, which aims to achieve optimal employment of tourism potentials in Oman that abounds a variety of natural, heritage and cultural attractions. - ONA
