Commanders of Oman, UAE coast, border guards hold meeting

Muscat: A meeting was held here on Wednesday between commanders of the coast guards and border guards of the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).


The Omani side was headed by Brigadier (Eng) Saif al Muqbali, Commander of the Coast Guard Police, while the UAE side was headed by Brigadier Dr Ahmed Mohammed al Murr, Deputy Commander of the protection of vital facilities and coasts.


During the meeting, the two sides discussed areas of joint cooperation and means of enhancing coordination and the exchange of information.
