MUSCAT: A helicopter belonging to the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), in coordination with the Royal Oman Police (ROP), carried out an intensified search operation for a citizen who went missing in the sea in the Niyabat of Al Ashkhara (Khuwaima area) in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate. The operation is still ongoing at press time.
The operation comes within the framework of the national efforts and roles undertaken by the Sultan’s Armed Forces alongside the other departments of the Ministry of Defence to provide assistance to citizens and residents. — ONA
