Muscat: Eid Al Fitr holiday 1444 AH for employees in the State’s Administrative Apparatus, other legal entities and establishments of the private sector will be from Thursday, Ramadan 29, 1444 AH, corresponding to April 20, 2023 to Monday, April 24, 2023. Official duty will be resumed on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
The Ministry of Labour pointed out that employers may agree on terms to engage employees on the said holiday—if deemed necessary due to the nature of their work—provided they compensate them for the holiday.
