Nizwa: The joint inspection team at the Directorate-General of Labour in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate in cooperation with the Al Dakhiliyah Municipality, arrested expats for illegally preparing meat for cooking in a house amid unhealthy conditions. Legal procedures against the defendants are underway.
Al Dakhiliyah Municipality continues its intensified monitoring and inspection efforts on bakeries and cafés that are authorized to operate during Ramadhan to ensure their abidance by the health standards. As a result, 7 health violations were issued in the Wilayat of Nizwa where health officers ordered the destruction of food deemed unfit for human consumption.
Health officers in the Wilayat of Samayil issued 2 violations, 3 notices given and 11 kg of rotten food materials destroyed.
