Speaking to Oman News Agency, Al Harthi said that the Ramadan events also include Al Hakwati Programme, a cultural and awareness programme aimed at introducing children to their cultural heritage and is held on Fridays during Ramadan as well as the Ambassadors of Noble Values programme, an awareness and cultural programme aimed at highlighting the Islamic values and increase awareness of the rights and duties of individuals within the society and enhancing the values that would preserve social identity. The programme is held on Saturdays during the month of Ramadan and targets children aged 7 to 10 years old.

The museum staged a musical in cooperation with the Amjad theatrical group. The museum also organized a workshop entitled ‘The Islamic decorations in the Omani architecture’ with the participation of children from 13 to 15 years old, the official said. — ONA
