Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MoH) has urged all citizens and residents who have been selected to perform Hajj rituals for the year 1444 AH to undergo medical checkups from April 16.

According to the competent authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, international pilgrims are recommended to take vaccinations for influenza, Covid-19, and meningitis.

As it is a main prerequisite to enter the Kingdom, the Ministry reiterated that it is mandatory to take the required vaccinations, which would help prevent infection and maintain public health.
