Muscat: The SMEs Development Authority and Bank Muscat will organize Souq al Wathbah for this year at the Bank Muscat Head Office at Airport Heights. The Souq will be held for three days, from April 6- 8.

This annual CSR initiative aims at providing a supportive avenue for home-based projects and entrepreneurs, giving them the opportunity to display their different products and expand their relationships through networking with other entrepreneurs to exchange expertise for the sake of business development.

More than 150 entrepreneurs and small and start-up businesses will participate in this year’s edition of Souq al Wathbah, where various products encompassing fashion, health and beauty products, home decorations and accessories, food and beverages, traditional wares and perfumes will be showcased at competitive prices.

The three-day Souq will be open from 8 pm to 12 midnight.

Since its first launch, the Ramadhan Souq constitutes one of the key steps to support small and start-up businesses and is one of the most important forums for entrepreneurs. It also comes within the strategies of both the SMEs Development Authority and Bank Muscat to support Omani entrepreneurs and SMEs and startups.

The Ramadhan Souq is expected to witness excellent participation from the public and the media, especially as it is one of the well-known souqs held during the month of Ramadhan.
