Muscat: The Majlis A'Shura will host Eng. Saeed bin Hamoud al Maawali, on April 6, 2023.
The session will include a presentation of the statement by the minister, which will cover policies, plans, and programs of the Ministry in the field of transport and infrastructure during the tenth five-year plan in line with Vision 2040.
The first axis of the statement will include the results achieved during the specified period of the tenth five-year plan, in addition to estimating the future needs in the transport sector and the increasing demands.
The second axis will focus on the development budget for the year 2023, the results of the economic and social impact assessment of the approval of development projects, and the mechanisms for integration in the implementation of projects between the budgets of the governorates and development budgets that fall within the competence of the ministry.
The third axis will address the strategic and programmatic directives of the communications and information technology sector, including development and investment in the communications and information technology sector and raising its contribution to the GDP, in addition to the strategic and programmatic direction and performance indicators of the National Center for Space and Advanced Technology and artificial intelligence, and the ministry's initiatives in the context of Muscat as the Arab Digital Capital for the year 2022.
