BIDBID: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water resources has launched an aerial spraying campaign for fight spring dubas bug in the Wilayat of Bidbid in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, on Wednesday.
The rest of the governorates will follow, the ministry said.
The campaign is as part of the ministry’s efforts aimed at combating the insect pests and protect date palm trees from pest infestation, It comes as continuation of the annual programme carried out by the ministry to reduce the economic damage caused by palm dubas bug which attacks this economic crop and causes damage not only to date palm trees but also to various plants. — ONA
