MUSCAT: Great Place to Work, a global research, training and consultancy firm that recognises the Best Workplaces in over 60 countries worldwide has revealed the lists of ‘Best Workplaces in Oman for 2023.
Servier, DHL Express, Hilton, Maersk, Al Shawamikh Oil Services SAOC, Schneider Electric, Al Hind Tours and Travels, Apparel Group and Al Maya Group find itself in the list among the recognised 9 organisations in Oman for their efforts as the top best workplaces for 2023.
The list is represented by a diverse number of governmental entities and industries including logistics, technology, finance, media, retail, fashion, FMCG, hospitality, healthcare and manufacturing.
The San Francisco-headquartered ‘Great Place to Work Organization’ is one of the largest organisations specialised in evaluating leading and distinguished work environments that support creativity, innovation and enhance productivity. It works according to a mechanism based on the use of high-accuracy evaluation models.

He further said that it was true evidence that they worked hard to reach this point and thrilled to congratulate those who have made it to the winners list in each country.
Following increased demand from the GCC countries for its workplace evaluation services, Great Place to Work expanded to the UAE in March 2010 as a licenced division of Best Companies Group. The UAE operation serves as the regional headquarters for the Middle East, with consultants and sales staff appointed in each market.
Any company based in the Middle East, falls within the industries belonging to the lists and employs 10 or more employees is eligible to participate.
Any company that appears on the list is selected primarily based on their employees’ responses to the Great Place to Work Trust Index, a proprietary employee survey developed by Great Place to Work.
To obtain Best Workplace ranking, the companies are scored. A large portion of a company’s score is based on the confidential feedback of their employees while the remaining score is obtained from an audit of management and HR practices - a reflection of the company’s solutions to specific criteria.
A great workplace culture is one that encourages collaboration and communication between employees.
These organisations have been working diligently in bridging the gaps, transforming cultures and evolving into being Best Workplaces.
