The meeting was held at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, Al Khuwair and was attended by the OBA chairman, vice-president, secretary-general, members and a representative of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.

Al Naabi pointed out the importance of launching youth training centres in the clubs and said: “The launch represents a qualitative and quantitative leap in the number of centres and a real addition that contributes to motivating clubs to participate in the various competitions of the association, especially the competitions of the age groups.”

He appreciated the continuous support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth to launch these centres.

The General Assembly approved the minutes of the previous meeting and the Board of Director’s report on the administrative and financial situation and various activities of the federation for the year 2022. The assembly also approved the draft activities and timetable for the year 2023, which includes the implementation of various competitions, championships, festivals and training courses for referees and trainers.
