Muscat: The Royal Oman Police's Al-Buraimi Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with Al-Dhahirah Governorate Police Command, managed to arrest five citizens on charges of promoting counterfeit Gulf currency. They were arrested for using the fake notes for shopping at several shops in Al-Buraimi Governorate. ROP has completed legal procedures against them.
In another incident, Dhofar Governorate Police Command on Thursday managed to arrest a citizen on charges of theft after he stole several batteries from parked trucks from different places in the governorate. ROP has initiated legal procedures against him.
