Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) celebrated on Tuesday the listing and start of trading the shares of Abraj Energy Services company.


Abraj Energy Services is considered the first company to undergo an initial public offering (IPO) within the framework of the exit plan led by Oman Investment Authority (OIA).


The listing ceremony was attended by Abdulsalam Mohammed al Murshidi, Chairman of OIA, Mohammed Mahfoud al Ardhi, Chairman of MSX Board of Directors, and several stakeholders and businesspeople in the securities sector.


The volume of subscription in the shares of Abraj Energy Services company amounted to over RO 790 million with a coverage rate of 870%. This figure exceeds the required amount by more than 8 times.
