Muscat: The 9th session of the Strategic Consultation Committee between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran was held in Muscat on Sunday.
The Omani side was chaired by Shaikh Khalifa Ali al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, while the Iranian side was chaired by Dr Ali Bagheri, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs.
The session discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in various areas. The two sides exchanged views on a set of regional and global issues of common concern.
The session was attended by a number of officials from both sides.
