Having slept for more than ten hours, my body was aching, but I had to get up. Turning right, she was still beside me.
“Hey beautiful! What s the time?”
She checked her phone and told me it was 2:30 in the afternoon. Luckily, it was still the weekend. No rush to go to work, but I have the urge to eat because I am already hungry.
A few minutes later, I was done with my preparations, and I went to the kitchen, hoping to find some nice food — the kind I was thinking about when I was in the shower. When I got to the table, there was nothing apart from some ginger tea and bread.
Still, I was thankful for the tea, though in my heart I was craving for more.
“Tea and bread will be enough, right?” she asked.
"Sure, of course,” I quickly agreed because I did not want to let her down.
With the way things seem, this is the first and last meal of the day. I figured it because she was also relaxing and after the meal, she asked, "What is today’s program?”
The moment I heard it, I knew it meant, “Take me out.”
Later, I drove out with her and I suggested we go for our monthly shopping. Since I knew it would take at least two hours, I dropped her off at the market, and then I took my son with me to the car wash.
I was content that I will be sleeping happily that night when I reached home since there was already an ample supply of food for tomorrow.
Therefore, I am expecting a big, fat breakfast.
