Sultanate makes progress in global soft power index

London- The Sultanate of Oman has made progress in the global soft power index, according to the British Brand Finance report for 2023, and was awarded the silver medal.


The report indicated that the Sultanate of Oman ranked 46th in the world, achieving 40.7 points, up from 49th in 2022.


It advanced 19 places in the field of education and science to rank 36th in the world, and 13 places in the field of media and communication to rank 46th globally.


It also advanced three centers in the axis of international relations and ranked 35th in the world, and advanced one center in business and commerce to rank 39th in the world.


Brand Finance prepared the index through a survey of more than 110,000 people to evaluate 121 countries and included eight axes.


The report measures the state's ability to influence the preferences and behavior of various actors in the international arena.
