Bank Nizwa sponsors 18th Cultural Season at University of Nizwa

MUSCAT: Bank Nizwa, the most trusted Islamic bank in the Sultanate of Oman, sponsored the 18th Cultural Season at Nizwa University as part of its ongoing efforts to support cultural events that promote knowledge and awareness. The season featured a diverse range of cultural, artistic, and economic programs, providing a platform for showcasing innovative student projects in the arts, literature and business. The event attracted a large audience of students, academics, administrators and representatives from government and private institutions both within and outside the province. Notably, senior representatives of universities and colleges in the Sultanate of Oman were in attendance.

This year's cultural season was packed with a variety of events, including the release of the National Entrepreneurship Report, an exhibition showcasing student products and companies as well as a series of hands-on workshops. Additionally, an international exhibition was held to showcase the innovative research and products of students. The season also featured a range of cultural activities, such as theatrical performances, engaging dialogues, poetry readings and live recitals of traditional folk songs.


Bank Nizwa was a significant contributor to the event, with an active role in promoting knowledge and awareness about Islamic banking. The bank dedicated a corner of the exhibition to showcase its operations, products and services that align with Islamic law. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the mechanisms of Islamic banking and the comprehensive range of Shariah-compliant products and services that the bank offers, which are designed to stay current with the latest developments in the Islamic banking industry.
