Al Khaboura: Ghuzayn copper project was inaugurated on Thursday in the Wilayat of Al Khaboura under the auspices of Eng Salim bin Nasser al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals.
The project aims to extract about 6.5 million tonnes of copper ore.
The mine operates with modern underground mining techniques that take into account the requirements of security, occupational safety and environmental preservation.
