Muscat: The Earthquake Monitoring Committee of the Sultan Qaboos University recorded a moderate earthquake in Hormozgan, southern Iran, measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale, at 10:05 am.
The epicenter of this earthquake is about 194 km from Khasab in the Sultanate of Oman.
