The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MOCIP) have issued a decision 62/2023 on the use of the national product logo.


Article 2 of the decision stipulates that companies have to correct their statuses within ) one year from the date of its implementation.


They shall not use the identity of the national product except after obtaining a license in accordance with the provisions of the regulations.

The Directorate General of Industry must decide on requests for a license within 15 days from the date the conditions and documents are met, and the license period is for there years, renewable, if it is issued.


The ministry may impose some penalties on violators, and whoever has been subjected to one of the penalties may complain to the minister within 60 days from the date of his notification.


The minister must decide on it within 30 days from the date of its submission.


The Ministry may impose one of the following penalties on violators of the provisions of these regulations, including an administrative fine not exceeding RO500, suspension of the license for a period not exceeding one year, and revocation of the license.
