Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its solidarity with the people of both the Republic of Turkey and the Syrian Arab Republic, which were devastated by a major earthquake on Monday.
"The Sultanate of Oman expressed its solidarity with both the friendly Republic of Turkey and the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic, and expresses its sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the families of the victims of the devastating earthquake that occurred in southern Turkey, and to the Turkish and Syrian peoples, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured," an official statement said.
The Sultanate of Oman's Embassy in Ankara has urged citizens currently in Turkey to contact the following numbers in an emergency.
