IronMan to affect traffic in parts of Muscat: ROP

The Royal Oman Police has announced a partial closure of traffic during the IronMan World Championship, which includes three events (swimming, cycling, and running) on Saturday in the Governorate of Muscat.


Starting from Intercontinental Hotel Muscat, the athletes will cover the 90km distance riding through Al-Sarooj signals; Qurum Heights, Muttrah, Al Bustan, Al Wadi al Kabir, Ruwi, Amerat via Wadi Adei, and then return to the starting point.


As traffic will be regulated until 2.30 pm, there will be a partial close of the above-mentioned roads during the race stages.
