MAHDHA: Al Buraimi Winter and Heritage Village kicked off on Thursday at the Cave Garden in Mahdha, with seven days of festivities under the auspices of Sayyid Dr Hamad bin Ahmed al Busaidy, Governor of Al Buraimi.
The event, designed to promote local businesses and small projects, offered a range of tourism and economic activities, including temporary marketing outlets, entertainment programmes, and a variety of cultural offerings such as art displays, cartoon characters, plays, poetry evenings, and games.
The Al Buraimi Winter and Heritage Village is part of the governorate's efforts to boost the local tourism and economy, and provide a winter destination for visitors to enjoy. -- ONA
