SHINAS: The second edition of Shinas Heritage Festival wrapped up at the camel race track under the auspices of HH Sayyid Firas bin Fatik al Said on Saturday.
The closing ceremony was attended by a number of camel owners from different governorates.
The chief guest visited the heritage village that displayed maritime, agricultural and Bedouin exhibits peculiar to the Wilayat of Shinas in addition to the productive families’ exhibition.
The four-day festival included beauty contests of Ardha camels and horse Ardha shows staged by horse riders from Shinas Equestrian Committee as well as folklore songs, music and dances.
At the end of the event, the chief guest gave away prizes to the winners of the camel beauty contests and honoured the participating institutions.
