Jabal Shams recorded the lowest temperature of -3.6 °C on Monday. The lowest temperature recorded until 7 am on Tuesday was -2°C. The lowest recorded temperature in Jabal Shams was -9.7°C recorded in January 2015, since monitoring began in 2003. Meanwhile, Muscat recorded a maximum temperature of 21°C and a minimum of 15°C.
