Muscat: The Royal Oman Police( ROP) on Monday issued the regulations that are needed to obtain a permanent private light driving license (a lifetime license).
According to the ROP, the applicant should be an Omani who had never worked as a vehicle driver.
The applicant should have completed 15 years since obtaining the driving license.
He has to be free of any disabilities-related issues.
The applicant's traffic report has to be free of any first-category- traffic violations over the past three years prior to the date of application.
The applicant should not combine the permanent private license with any other driving license of other categories.
