The Directorate-General for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances in cooperation with the Special Task Police arrested three people including a male citizen in connection with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and using. The defendants had smuggled drugs into the country in connivance with an international drug cartel. An amount of 36 kg of morphine, hashish and psychotropic tablets were found in their possession. Legal action against the defendants is underway.
