Khazaen signs pact to set up Pharma City

Khazaen Economic City has signed an agreement with Invest in Oman to help attract new investments in a Pharma City currently under development in the hub.


The Pharma City aims to contribute to the achievement of the Sultanate's strategy for pharmaceutical security. It aims to attract expertise and advanced technology, in addition to achieving integration between educational qualifications and market demand in the pharmaceutical industry.


Investments in Pharma City currently total around RO 25 million as of 2022-end. The Pharma City is being established on around half a million square metres to support investments in pharmaceutical factories, integrated stores, laboratories and advanced medical research centers in addition to medical centers of Import and export specialized in the health sector.


Invest in Oman is an integrated hall that provides a distinguished investment experience, bringing together the entities concerned with serving investors supported by a customer service system and a distinguished platform that allows identification of the investor’s journey and investment opportunities, facilitating ways to communicate with investors locally and internationally.
