MUSCAT: Strenserv brushed past Douglas OHI by 2 wickets in the A Division League Season 2022-23 powered by Khimji Ramdas LLC.
Douglas OHI won the toss and elected to bat first. Douglas got off to a steady start although Strenserv’s pacers held their discipline well. With Douglas losing just 1 wicket in the powerplay , they looked to go big on Strenserv but Jaleel K and Devansh Loya executed their plans well to pick wickets at regular intervals packing half of Douglas’ batsmen on just 69 in 20 overs.

in Douglas OHI packed for 152 runs. Jaleel K and Devansh Loya picked 3 wickets each while Vijeesh Velunni picked 2 wickets.
In response, Strenserv lost two of their top order batsmen within the 1 st 4 overs getting Douglas OHI back in the hunt.
Supriyo S and Devansh Loya’s 43 run partnership stabled the ship for Strenserv which was then ably cashed in by Ali Muhammed scoring a half century to take Strenserv through the line in the contest. Strenserv registered their second win of the league in six matches.
