FSQC warns against use of inferior food-contact materials

The Food Safety Quality Center (FSQC) in Oman has warned that violations have been observed in the storage of food items such as biscuits or cookies.

"These food-contact materials (the plastic jars or containers) used in some cases are not of the food grade. The center recommends that all consumers and sellers avoid consuming or trading these products," a statement issued said.
