Muscat: The Extra Ordinary General Meeting of the popular confectionary brand Sweets of Oman on Thursday discussed the situation of the troubled company and its repercussions approved, which include its dissolution and liquidation
The Alzulfa for Consulting and Business was appointed as a liquidator and their remuneration was fixed.

As per the filing to the Muscat Stock Exchange in December, the company said that the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting will be held at its headquarters in the Rusayl, and in the event that the quorum is not met, a second meeting will be held on January 5.
The directors of Sweets of Oman company decided on November 23 to proceed with the liquidation procedures, to be preceded by an invitation to hold an extraordinary general assembly meeting, after three years of attempts to stimulate the company's activity and invite many investors to invest in restructuring the company, the filing said.
