Muscat: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning (MHUP) signed eight new agreements in the fields of real estate development, integrated service stations, and electronic services, with an investment value of over RO150 million.

The agreements consist of the establishment of two townships with integrated facilities in Al Amerat and Halban to provide 1,400 housing units within the Sorouh project, and the construction of five integrated fuel stations in the governorates of Muscat, North al Batinah, and South al Batinah, under the usufruct system.

The Sorouh integrated projects are equipped with all the necessary and modern services for residential neighborhoods.

The Al Naseem neighborhood is the first project Sorouh implemented. It has 1,000 housing units, including 320 apartments, 120 villas, and 475 twin villas, on an area of 350,000 sqm.

The real estate developer is responsible for the infrastructure and services within the project boundaries. The housing units will be delivered to citizens in Al Naseem in May of 2023.
