Fagor FCC thump Strenserv, ISM thrash MCCC by 216 runs

MUSCAT: Fagor FCC thumped Strenserv by 96 runs in the A Division League Season 2022-23 powered by Khimji Ramdas LLC and Indian School Muscat U19 beat Muscat Cricket Coaching Centre by 216 runs in the U19 Junior League Season 2022-23 powered by Khimji Ramdas LLC.


In the A Division match, Strenserv won the toss and put Fagor FCC to bat first.


Fagor FCC’s second wicket partnership of 79 runs put them onto a firm base for a good total. Aneermon A scored a sublime half century being dropped at first slip before notching a run. Fagor FCC posted a total of 221 runs.


Jaleel K picked five wickets while Abdul Rauf bagged three wickets along with Vijeesh claiming two wickets as well.


In response, Strenserv were cruising well towards the target but tumbled down losing five wickets between five overs and were packed at 125. Mustaqeem Asif hit a chanceless half century to help Strenserv fight. Nobish


Gopi bagged five wickets while Aneermon A claimed three wickets.

In the U19 match, Indian School Muscat U19’s scored 334 runs courtesy of a sublime century from Tanuj Sivakumar and an aggressive half century from Aditya Gurumukhi. Harshil Shetty picked three wickets for MCCC U19. In response, MCCC U19 were bundled down for 118 after Aditya Girish picked up four wickets and Aditya MPR claiming three wickets.
